Chuck D: Hip Hop Needs to Back Obama and Stomp Trump

*Public Enemy frontman Chuck D shared recently that he’s pretty disappointed for the lack of support for the president from his fellow rappers.

Although President Barack Obama has had a strong week with announcing the death of Osama Bin Laden and proving his American citizenship, the vocal support from the hip hop industry has been scarce as far as speaking out against Donald Trump.

“If rappers are so bold like they used to be there would be like 10 diss records for Donald Trump right now,” Chuck told Vibe magazine. “But the average rapper is afraid because they don’t know if Trump will have money for them one day. Money has brought their fear out. There are supposed to be 20 cats lined up cursing Trump the f— out. This is supposed to be hip-hop, right?”

He also went on to share that he’s basically disgusted with the community’s lack of faith in the Black man. And he also had some words for Donald Trump.

Chris' mother, Joyce Hawkins, even proclaimed that Michael died so that her son could be redeemed.

But is Chris tapping a well gone dry with his latest MJ-inspired visual for the MJ-sampling "She Ain't You"?

Also says Seth Meyers is a 'stutterer.'

*Donald Trump is now officially a certified nitwit.

After he was lit up by President Obama and “Saturday Night Live” head writer Seth Meyers at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Saturday night, he’s now on the offensive again, first calling Meyers a “stutterer,” and also firing back at late night talk-show host David Letterman for saying his prolonged attacks on Obama have begun to “smack of racism.”

In a letter to the host of CBS’ “Late Show with David Letterman,” Trump wrote:

Kid Rock accepts Controversial NAACP Award in Detroit

Kid Rock gave as well as received on Sunday night (May 1) in his home town.

While accepting his controversial Great Expectations Award at the Detroit branch of the NAACP's 56th annual Fight For Freedom Fund Dinner, Rock announced $100,000 in donations -- five $10,000 grants to Motor City-based organizations and $50,000 to the American Red Cross for tornado victims in U.S. Southern states. Many in the crowd announced at more than 10,000 gave Rock a standing ovation, diffusing a bit of the controversy that surrounded the award.

Critics felt it was inappropriate for the NAACP to honor Rock since he uses a Confederate flag in his stage shows and videos. Outside of Cobo Hall, where the dinner was held, a couple of dozen protesters marched with Say No To Kid Rock signs and at one point burned a Confederate flag over a garbage can. Adolph Mongo, a Detroit political consultant who was outspoken in his opposition to the award, said that the flag "stands for hatred, bigotry, racism, murder.
